Wendy Small received a degree in painting from the School of Visual Arts, followed by a BSN from New York University. In 2002, she began working with the photogram process, and her photograms have been displayed in galleries throughout NY and the United States, including at Sears Peyton, Morgan Lehman, and Von Lintel Gallery. Small was assistant to the painter Terry Winters for ten years, and also works as a nurse at Grace Church School. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
